- Led successful funding applications to Arts Council England, securing vital investment to sustain and develop the festival expanding across London and Oxford.
- Collaborated with the festival team to shape its vision.
- Advised on monitoring and evaluation frameworks to evidence impact, capture learning and support future planning.
- Our strategic input has helped KS LitFest build a strong foundation for long-term cultural engagement, championing new voices and fostering creativity across communities.
Curating ExhibitionsAt Sharp Raiser, we specialise in curating powerful, community-led exhibitions that amplify underrepresented voices through art, heritage, and storytelling.
We supported Hounslow Action for Youth charity, mentoring their Youth Ambassadors to co-develop and co-curate a groundbreaking exhibition at the Pie Factory Gallery. The exhibition celebrated the overlooked botanical knowledge of Black and Asian enslaved women, illuminating their 18th-century legacies through textile art, illustration, and creative writing. Led by our artist consultant Jacqueline Crooks, we recruited and guided a wonderful cohort of artists, including lead curator, Jaixia and Tihara Smith.
